He was predeceased by: his parents, Odell Player and Louise Jenkins Player. He is survived by: his wife Renee Player; his children, Dr. Marty Shannon Player, Ryan Lee Player (Laura) and Anna Renee Reed (Nathan); his grandchildren, Railey Katherine Player, Sydney Reese Player, Trent Ryan Player, Lennox Grace Reed and Hardin McCarty Reed; his siblings, Randy Player, Dolly Turner (Bob), Cindy Moss and Candace Honeycutt; and his sister-in-law Nancy Richardson (Keith).
