He was predeceased by: his grandson Alex Drew Leaphart. He is survived by: his mother Evelyn Adams Leaphart; his children, Jason Leaphart (Emily) and Jennifer Heath; his grandchildren, Logan Leaphart, Grace Leaphart, Sarah Lynn Leaphart, Cooper Leaphart, Ellie Leaphart, Brayden Carnes and Brynn Carnes; and his siblings, Richard Leaphart (Candace), Jimmy Leaphart (Beth) and Darlene O'Byrne (Michael).
