He was predeceased by: his parents, Cletis Dudley Williams and Florrie Douglas Farr Williams; and his brother Dudley Ray Williams. He is survived by: his wife Mae Bailes; his children, Debra Ann Williams Sowell and Richard Douglas Williams (Laura) of Lancaster; his sister Ann Williams Young of Fairfax, SC; his grandsons, Kevin Williams Sowell (Kimberly) and Benjamin Sowell; and his great grandchildren, Julia, Jason and John Mark Sowell.
