It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dorothy Huey (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on January 8, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Grant and Mattie Hudson Grant; her husband Harry Boyce Huey, Sr.; and her sisters, Nellie Crouch, Margaret Jackson and Annie Deese.
She is survived by: her children, Harry Boyce Huey, Jr (Nancy) of Young Harris, GA, James Calvin "Jimmy" Huey (Dianne) of Blackstock, SC and Violet Huey Belk of Waxhaw, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and a large extended family.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 –11:00 am, one hour prior to the service, at the church and suggest memorial contributions be made to Unity ARP Church, Building Fund, 3495 Unity Church Rd., Lancaster, SC 29720.
