She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest C. Hunter and Vivian Plyler Hunter; her sons, Rev. Timothy "Timmy" Snipes and Donnie Snipes; her husband Sammy Pitmon; and her brother Ernest Hunter.
She is survived by: her daughter Wendy Bell (Chris Faulkenberry); her grandchildren, Kayla Bell, Brandon Bell, Dustin Snipes (Kristen), Lauren Poston (Jimmy), Casey Humbert, Anna Snipes and Jacob Snipes; her great grandchildren, Daxton Snipes and Bailey Snipes; and her sisters, Paulette Brown (Ken) and Becky Carter.
