She is survived by: her parents, Richard "Rick" Keith Gardner (Michelle) and Betsy Sims Gardner; her brother Richard "Little Rick" K. Gardner Jr.; and her stepbrother Colton Crenshaw. She is also survived by friends, and animals.

“I knew the kindness and love of grandad Bill. He would stop by my house on the way home from the hospital, I am sure tired and would give me a shot of penicillin for rheumatic fever. He did this for months and refused payment. I am sure she was like him and is with him now in heaven”
