It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debra Kay Johnson (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Monroe, North Carolina, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Lonnie Laney; her brothers, Gary Laney and Walter Brooks; her husband Charles Johnson; and her son Steven Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Junior Moser, Donna Newell (Bill), Charles Johnson (Shorty), Stanley Johnson, Ann Johnson, Tommy Johnson and Jamie Johnson; and her daughter-in-law Kim Johnson McManus. She is also survived by her 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great, great-grandchild.
