He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Knight and Virda Blackmon Knight; his son Richie Alexander Knight; and his siblings, Wade Knight, Ronnie Knight and Peggy Freeman.
He is survived by: his wife Sharlene Knight; his sons, William Jeffrey Knight (April) and Jason Paul Knight (Jaime); his grandchildren, Nickie Linton (Mitch), Alex Knight, Mitch Knight (Grace), Brad Knight (Jesse), Jackson Knight and Benjamin Knight; his great grandchildren, Stacey Knight, Branden Linton, Jayden Knight, Katelyn Knight, Madison Linton, Evan Reynolds and Emma Grace Knight; and his brother Gerald Knight (Joyce). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
