He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Horton and Sarah Griffin Horton; and his siblings, Cecil Horton, Ruth Myers and Kathryn Robinson.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Horton; his children, Chris Horton (Lisa), Robert Horton and Kathy Horton; his granddaughter Sky Eddings (Patrick); his great grandchild Elena Eddings; his niece Kricket Arbaugh; and his sister Mary Gardner of Aiken, SC..
