With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cecil Lee Catoe Sr. (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Kershaw, South Carolina, who passed away on March 27, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Catoe and Grace Catoe Broughton (Melvin); his daughter Lynn Fields; his stepson Timmy Lear; and his brothers, Robert and Wilbert Catoe.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Tucker Catoe; his children, Terry Parkman (Clyde) of Kershaw, SC, Maria Gifford of Biloxi, MS, Charlene Helms (Greg) of Indian Land, SC and Cecil Catoe, Jr. (Nicki) of Lancaster, SC; and his siblings, Arthur Catoe of Lancaster, SC, Jerry Broughton of Lancaster, SC, Nett Horton of Lancaster, SC and Bernice McWaters of Liberty Hill, SC. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
