She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Coleman "Jake" Taylor and Ellen Hunter Taylor; and her siblings, Richard Taylor, Joe Taylor, Janice Boltz, Eleanor Threatt and Sheila Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Starnes (Geri), Brandon Starnes (Charlene) and Jane Napier (Ron); her grandchildren, Christian Starnes (Christen), Mitchell Starnes, Peyton Visbeck (Will), Haleigh Rowell (Blatan), Cory Rowell, Brandon Napier (Josie), Brian Napier, Journey Rucker and Lake Rucker; her great grandchildren, Owen Napier, Evan Napier, Kate Napier and Briar Chapman; and her siblings-in-law, Larry Boltz and Beth Taylor.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Educational Foundation of USC-L, Carolyn Starnes Taylor Scholarship Fund.
