He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Coke Smith Lever, Sr. and Martha Elizabeth Johnston Lever; his brother Ralph Lever (Norma); his brother-in-law Boyd Tompkins; and his nephew Tommy Tompkins.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Lever; his children, Tom Lever (Leigh) and Susan Tanner (Jennings); his grandchildren, Thomas Lever, Wylie Elizabeth Lever and Catherine Tanner; his sister Martha Ellen Tompkins; and his sisters-in-law, Corinne Brackett (Frank) and Elizabeth Simpson (Joe). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
