He was predeceased by: his parents, Broadus Hazel Robinson and Nettie Lee Sims Robinson; and his siblings, Bobby R. Robinson, Bennie F. Robinson and Sybil Plyler.

He is survived by: his children, Lee Robinson (Cynthia) of Lancaster, Rev. Scott Robinson (Angie) of Kershaw and Felicia Collins (Robbie); and his brother Leon "Punk" Robinson of Lancaster. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
