It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Mackey (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on December 15, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Wayne Taylor; and her siblings, Rufus Knight Jr., Ray Miller "Tanky" Knight, Howard Knight, Frances Farias and Kathleen Small.

She is survived by: her parents, Rufus Knight Sr. and Connie Plyler Knight; her sons, Bryon Wayne Taylor of Lancaster and Donald Brad Taylor (Melissa) of Heath Springs; and her sister Jean Knight Small of Lancaster. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
