He is survived by: his children, Billy Ray Whitaker, Jr. (Sherrie) of Lancaster and Rebecca Hilburn (Tim) of Lancaster; and his sister Lucille Garris of Lancaster. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
