It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Hartley (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Jefferson, South Carolina, who passed away on December 21, 2019, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Duke Dalton Johnson and Geneva Eva Atkinson Johnson; and her brother Robert James Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Frank Hartley; her brothers, Jerry Johnson (Brenda) of Lancaster and Sammie Surrell Johnson, Sr. (Rosa) of Summerville; and her niece Kathy McAteer. She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 12:00-1:00 pm, at the funeral home and suggest memorial contributions be made to Kindred Hospice, 223 South Herlong Avenue, Rock Hill, SC 29732.
