Betty Bailey Roddey Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Bailey Roddey (Lancaster, South Carolina), who passed away on July 12, 2019 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Spurgeon Bailey and Leila Humphries Bailey; her former husband Ray W. Gainey; her husband Roy G. Roddey; her granddaughter-in-law Alesha Gainey; and her siblings, Floyd Bailey, Clyde Bailey, Baxter "Junebug" Bailey, Evelyn Cauthen, Pauline Moseley, Louise Baker and Gladys Sims.
She is survived by: her children, Rick A. Gainey (Janet), Tim Gainey (Vickie), Kenney Gainey (Lisa) and Naida Starnes (Nelson); her grandchildren, Michael Gainey, Rickey Crenshaw (Katrina), Allen "Pete" Craig, Melissa Craig (Jeremy), Kristen Gainey, Kent Gainey (Kelly), McKenzie Gainey and Kyle Gainey; her sister Doris Small; and her sister-in-law Nancy Bailey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
