He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Henry Sweet and Thayer Burnette Sweet; his daughter Julia Elizabeth "Julie" Sweet-Walden; and his sister Penny Sweet Crowley. He is survived by: his daughter Dr. Lisa Yvonne Usher of Lancaster; his grandchildren, Michaela Rose Sweet, SaVanna Grace Walters, Braxton Richard Usher, McKennley Isaac Walden and Ronan Isaiah Sweet-Walden; and his great grandchild Julia Rose Fauser.
