She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Crawford Gooch and Bessie Bennett Gooch; her husband Artis Raymond "Mutt" Powers; her son-in-law James Ralph Craig; her grandson James Brian "Jamie" Craig; and her siblings, Crawford Gooch, Nancye G. Gardner, Joe Gooch and Henry Gooch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Beth Powers Craig of Lancaster, S. C. and Suzanne Powers of Lancaster, S. C.; her grandson Brett Craig (Adair); her great grandchildren, Jamison and Bryant Craig of Ravenel, S. C.; and her sister Sue Gooch Kirk of Lancaster, S. C.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
