It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Beatrice Swafford (Lancaster, South Carolina), born in Gastonia, North Carolina, who passed away on June 11, 2018, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Ancil Roscoe; and her stepson Dennis (Susan Swafford). She is survived by: her parent Beatrice Kelley Baird; her spouse Lester Eugene Swafford; her brothers, Ancil Baird of Seneca and Richard Kelley Baird (Helen) of Marshall, TX; and her stepchildren, Carl Swafford (Cyndi) of Stallings, NC, Larry Swafford of Charlotte, NC and Janet Swafford of Matthews, NC.. She is also survived by 4 step grandchildren, 4 step great grandchildren, 1 step great great grandchild, 6 nieces, 3 nephews, 5 great nieces, 2 great nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
In honor of Ann's support for St Jude's Children's Hospital, the family respectfully requests any donations in her name be made to them.
