He is survived by: his wife Jean Grooms; his children, Garris Grooms and Deborah Moore; his grandchildren, Shawn Sharpe, Dustin Sharpe (Jennifer), Cammie Grooms, Chastity Cox and Fairlynn Bruce (David); his great grandchildren, Harley Cox and Kade Sharpe; and his sister Margaret Mancil.
