She is survived by: her daughter Carolyn L. Benjamin (Ralph); her granddaughters, Jawanda Lee of Lamar, SC, Tawanda Lee of Lamar, SC and Nyshema B. Johnson of Darlington, SC; her great grandchildren, Talyia Durant of Columbia, SC, Tonoria Durant of Lamar, SC, Miyah Johnson of Darlington, SC and McKenzie Johnson of Darlington, SC; her sisters, Fostine Jarmon of Baltimore, MD, Rudell Lyde of Lamar, SC, Pandora Phillips of Baltimore, MD, Florence Scott of Darlington, SC, Naomi Carter of Lamar, SC and Yvonne Lee of Columbia, SC; and her sisters-in-law, Lillian Lee and Janie Lee. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and countless other relatives and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Mitchell-Josey Funeral Home, Inc. (612 S Main St, Darlington, SC 29532). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Lamar Church of God (797 E Lynches River Rd, Lamar, SC 29069). A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at the Of God Cemetery (797 E Lynches River Rd, Lamar, SC 29069).
