He is survived by: his parents, Anna Lorine Conyers Smith and Henry Ray Smith; his wife Laura Smith of Lydia, SC; his daughter Lynda Alexander (Tommy) of Newnan, GA.; his stepchildren, Regina Henderson of Lydia, SC and James Henderson (Konstantina Pikoula) of Oates, SC; and his siblings, Wanda Montgomery (Wesley) of Chesnee, SC, Sue Kelchner (Arty) of Lydia, SC and Michael Smith (Wanda) of Lydia, SC. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren, 14 step-great-grandchildren; and one step-great-great granddaughter; 7 nieces and nephews, 6 great nieces and nephews.
