With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Adams of Lamar, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on December 15, 2020 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Stokes and Hattie Reddick Stokes; her husband Tommy Adams; her daughter Faye Privette; and her siblings, Henry, Paul, Wade Stokes, Eva Mae Perkins, Mary Langston and Betty Jordan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianne Dorman of Lamar, Judy Gaskins of Florence, Carol Richardson (Bobby) of Lamar and Michelle Lewis (Marion) of Lamar; her grandchildren, Herbie Dorman (Ronda), Jennifer Odom (Jay), Lance Gaskins (Jessica), Gabrielle Hall (Will), Kris Richardson (Robin), Craig Richardson and Ethan Lewis; and her sister Dot Malphus (Happy). She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Anyone attending is asked to wear a mask and observe social distancing guidelines.
