He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude W. Andrews and Rozell Galloway Andrews; and his brothers, Robert L. Andrews, Harry W. Andrews and Emmett E. Andrews.
He is survived by: his wife Era Windham Andrews of Lamar; his son Alvin Andrews; his grandchildren, Murphy Monk of Hartsville and Michelle Babb (Yarrow) of Florence; his great grandchildren, Ben Carter, Kate Carter, Emma Carter and Margaret Monk; and his sister Margurite Porter of Sumter.
