She was predeceased by: her parents, Arne Lahti and Agnes Bancroft Lahti; and her husband John E. Blackwell. She is survived by: her children, David Blackwell (Laura) of Hartsville, SC, Jeffrey Blackwell (Teresa) of Darlington, SC, Terri Gainey (Johnny) of Hartsville, SC, Jonna Carter of Hartsville, SC and June Mariner of Portsmith, NH; her sisters, Janet Elaine Truman of Norway, ME and Patricia Hill of Norway, ME; her grandchildren, Ron Reid, Samantha Polson, Stephanie Sawyer, Heather Evans, Kattie Anderson, Keslie Blackwell, Taylor Blackwell, Sydney Carter, Logan Blackwell, Brandie Blackwell and Sarah Reagan Carter; and her great grandchildren, Mason Reid, Cohen Reid, John Greyson Reid, Raelynn Reed, Riley Anderson, Jason Morgan and Jasper Sawyer.
Those attending the service will be required to wear masks and follow social distancing guidelines established by the United Methodist Church.
