She was predeceased by: her parents, Burton Paul Smith and Ruby Cockman Smith; and her siblings, Worthie, Reid, Winston, Wayne Smith and Caroline Smith.

She is survived by: her sons, Alan Poole (Kathy) and Charlie Poole (Laura); the father of her children Donald Poole; her grandchildren, Reece Poole (Brittany), Miles Poole, Josh Poole (Stephanie), Caleb Poole and Jarrett Poole; her great grandchildren, Harper August and Oliver Poole; her sisters, Maxine Scaglione and Hazel Bowers (Mike); and her close friend Cindy Windham. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
