He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Windham and Mattie Marie Watford Windham; his wife Peggy Windham; and his siblings, Clarence "Candy Ball" Windham, Virginia Atkinson, Edie Atkinson, Harold Windham, Ted "Peter" Windham and Ned Windham.

He is survived by: his sons, Mark Windham (Dena) and John Windham (Toni Brantley); his grandchildren, Cassidy Windham, Patrick Windham (Ashley), Justin Windham, Jason Windham, Aaron Brantley (Stacy) and Dana Brantley; his great grandchildren, Payton, Ashton, Paxton, Trent, Addison, Brayton and Brooklyn; his stepson William Layton; and his siblings, Ruby Bailey (Ray), Willie James Windham, Clarice Cliffton, Mary Alice Shoemake, Mattie Ann Poston, Robert "Shot" Windham (Linda) and Carl "Dagger" Windham (Cindy).
