With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Edward Hornsby of Lamar, South Carolina, born in Kershaw, South Carolina, who passed away on December 2, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Hornsby and Annie Jackson Hornsby. He is survived by: his wife Gwen Hornsby; his children, Eddie Hornsby Jr. (Brandee), Bryan Hornsby (Tiffany), Timmy Hornsby, Samantha Brown (Garren) and Jennifer Jackson (Scott); and his sister Evelyn McKinney (Jeff). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.
