It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bill Parnell of Lamar, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on November 23, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lynn Parnell and Estella Brown Parnell Collins; his wife Tallulah Kennedy Parnell; his sons, Robert Lynn Parnell and Jimmy Parnell of Hartsville; his stepdaughter Johnnie Taylor; and his siblings, G. L. Parnell and Wilma Hendricks.
He is survived by: his children, Rocky Parnell (Belinda) of Florence, Connie Cox (Jim) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Brenda Johnson of Lexington; his stepdaughters, Debra Gleaton (Eddie) and Kay Hatcher (Jerry); his brother Harry Parnell of Lamar; and his niece Marian Odom. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
