He was predeceased by: his son John Folkers Lewis; and his parents, Maurice Judson and Mary Emma Lewis (Weakley). He is survived by: his wife Kaye; his sons, Derek Lewis (Clare Hoffmann) of Lake Wylie, SC and Keven (Kelly White Lewis) of Pawley's Island, SC; and his sisters, Anne Weber of Wilmore, KY and Sue Raymond of Kansas City, MO..
