He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gayle Brown, Sr. and Marjorie Shaffer Brown. He is survived by: his children, Melissa B. Haas (Jamie) of Lake Wylie, SC, Jeffrey D. Brown (Cheryl) of Atlanta, GA and Robert J. Brown (Jennifer) of Lakeland, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
