With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy Frances Thompson of Lake Wylie, South Carolina, born in Daytona Beach, Florida, who passed away on October 9, 2024 at the age of 98. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Cato and Hilda Gadson Cato; her spouses, Algernon S. Hannah, Jr. and Herbert Thompson; and her siblings, Hilda Cato Mason and Ralph Cato.
She is survived by: her daughter Paschell H. Sampey (Charles) of Hampton, GA; her brother Algernon S. Hannah, III (Carol) of Rock Hill, SC; and her grandchildren, Charton Sampey, Tamika Wright, Chantel Rea, Charles Smith, Holly Hannah, Algernon S. Hannah, IV and Lauren Hannah White. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; and several half brothers and sisters.
