Ruby Wilkerson King Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Wilkerson King of Lake View, South Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wylie Wilkerson and Nettie Smith Wilkerson of Fairmont; her husband Clarence King; her children, W. C. King, Kenneth King and Jeanette K. Poston; her grandsons, Richard Elvington of Texas and Gerald King of Effingham, SC; and her children-in-law, Ellen King of Nichols, SC and Jimmy Poston.
She is survived by: her children, Billy Frank King of Nichols, Allen Wayne King (Becky) of Nichols, SC, Sara K. Elvington (Bobby) of Lake View, SC and Paul King (Pam) of Nichols, SC. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Pyerian Baptist Church (2813 Pyerian Rd, Latta, SC 29565). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
