With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nellie K. Adkins of Lake View, South Carolina, who passed away on December 5, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kate Elvington (Marlow) and George Elvington; her husband Frank Adkins; her daughter Donna Rood; her granddaughters, Tracy Adkins and Angel Adkins; and her sister Georgia Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Fisher, Douglas Adkins (Sue) and Bruce Adkins (Barb); her son-in-law Mark Rood; her grandchildren, Shawn Slanger (Terry), Katrina Beaudin (Jim), Crystal Hoskins (Ben), April Smith (Gil), Jeremy Adkins, Katie Stiles (Ryan) and Matt Rood (Beckie); and her sister Francine Byrd. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
