He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph T. Townsend and Mayola H. Townsend; and his brother Joseph Timothy Townsend. He is survived by: his siblings, Mark Townsend of Dillon, William Townsend (Catherine) of Dillon, Carolyn Brown of Fayetteville, NC, Lori Cook of Dillon, SC and Brenda Nobles (Danny) of Lake View, SC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
