He is survived by: his wife Connie Mixon of Lake City; his sons, Dale Mixon (Nikki) of Lake City, Brad Mixon (Kelly) of Lake City and Billy Mixon of Lake City; his grandchildren, Gage, Carson, Carter, Connor, Parker, Damon, Dayton and Conner; his close friend Jason Brown; his siblings, Elise Smiley, Joseph Mixon (Varnette) and Laverne Mixon (Bonnie); his half-siblings, Janet Porter (Glenn), Donna Lee (Tommy) and Clint McKenzie (Wendy); and his brothers-in-law, Tommy Yarborough and Perry Wright. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
