He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lyerly and Beatrice Cameron Lyerly; his brother Carlton Lyerly; his niece Cindy Tyler; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Long and Margaret Lyerly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Lyerly Long of Bennettsville, Bonnie Lyerly Coward (Allen) of Coward, Cheryl Lyerly Cox (Russell) of Florence and Larry Allen Lyerly (Doris Coker) of Scranton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
