He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Lyerly and Beatrice Cameron Lyerly; his brother Carlton Lyerly; his niece Cindy Tyler; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Long and Margaret Lyerly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Lyerly Long of Bennettsville, Bonnie Lyerly Coward (Allen) of Coward, Cheryl Lyerly Cox (Russell) of Florence and Larry Allen Lyerly (Doris Coker) of Scranton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591).
