He is survived by: his siblings, Phillip Purvis of Lake City, Charles "Pete" Purvis of Lake City, Vernon Purvis (Patty) of Hartsville and Ethel P. Collins (Mike) of Campobello; his stepdaughters, Lori Noelle Burtz of Cape Coral, FL and Lisa Burtz of Dallas, GA; and his caregiver Beth Simmons of Florence. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
