He was predeceased by: his parents, Covington Raulston "C. R." McKenzie, Jr. and Eva Ruth Feagin McKenzie; his sister Brenda Parker; his nephew Brent Parker; and his brother-in-law Reverend Laverne Parker.
He is survived by: his wife Angela C. McKenzie of Hemingway; his daughter Jana J. Wright (Franklin) of Barrineau; his brother Dale McKenzie (Angie) of Barrineau; his stepsons, Joey Cook (Crystal) of Johnsonville and Joedy Cook (Chelsea) of Johnsonville; his aunts, Ethaline Driggers (Lamar) of Barrineau and Elsie McKenzie of Barrineau; and his uncle Kenneth McKenzie (Bobbie) of Barrineau. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
