We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2023, at the age of 86, LaRue Eldred Kirby (Lake City, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas Durant Kirby and Olive Morris Kirby; his son-in-law Ted Walter; and his brothers, Nelson Kirby, Ronald Kirby, LeGrande Kirby and Sammy Kirby.
He is survived by: his wife Shelby Keith Kirby of Lake City; his children, Cheryl Walter and Roger Kirby (Pam) of Lake City; his grandchildren, Benjamin "Ben" Walter (Alison Abercrombie) of Lake City, Amy Lee Kirby (David Gowdy) of Lake City, Lizzie Kirby of Lake City, Kate Hall (Andrew) of Lake City and Grace Burch (Patrick) of Lake City; his great grandchildren, Jack Burch of Lake City and Emerson Hall of Lake City; his brother Gerald Kirby (Faye) of Lake City; and also Pam Kirby. He is also survived by in-laws, nieces and nephews.
