With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joyce B. Mullen of Lake City, South Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Mullen; her parents, Ralph Frederick Broeking and Cecilia Zimmer Broeking; her great grandchild Dominic Sturms; and her sister Jean Shannon.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Sturms; her grandchildren, Lee Sturms (Lauren) and Lars Sturms (Elizabeth); her great grandchildren, Boe Reese, Elijah Reese, Zach Reese, Natalie Reese, Sarah Sturms and L. J. Sturms; and her brother-in-law Richard Fulkerson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Scranton, SC 29591). A committal service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Florence National Cemetery.
