With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Miles (Lake City, South Carolina), born in Florence, South Carolina, who passed away on February 19, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his spouse Lynn Miles; his parents, Rufus Miles and Jemima Strickland Miles; and his son Jason Rufus Miles. He is survived by: his sisters, Nina Altman (Jimmie "Pomp") of Johnsonville and Nancy Gause of Kingstree; his siblings-in-law, Lisa Parsons (David) of Manning, Betty Hanniford (Lynn) of Sumter, Kay Filyaw (Billy) of Timmonsville and Martin of Johnsonville; and his goddaughter Casey Wilkes of Florence. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
