He was predeceased by: his parents, William Blonzar McKenzie and Juanita Floyd McKenzie; his siblings, JoAnne McKissick and Cecil Chadwick McKenzie; his parents-in-law, Jay and Ruby Altman; and his siblings-in-law, Iris Altman and Wayne Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Altman McKenzie of Lake City; his son Donnie McKenzie (Tammy) of Kingstree; his sister Joyce Lee of Scranton; his grandchildren, Elizabeth McKenzie and William "Boyd" McKenzie; his stepchildren, Brent Prosser of Columbia and Brooke Creel (Matt) of Pamplico; his stepgrandchildren, Madison Creel and Emerson Creel; and his brothers-in-law, Jakey Altman and Jamie Altman (Robin).
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Barrineau Pentecostal Holiness Church (3709 St James Rd, Lake City, SC 29560). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
