He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther C. Ward and Ruth Baker Ward; his siblings, Patsy Barbree, Luther Neal Ward and Bobby Ward; and his great grandchild Bowen Jackson.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Matthews Ward of Lake City; his children, Jackie Kim Ward of Lake City, Chris "Curley" Ward (Sherri) of Lake City and Teresa W. Romanelli (Robert) of Myrtle Beach; his sister Ruby Lee Ward Eason of St. Petersburg; his grandchildren, Matt (Crystal), Ashley, Carmen Ward Coker (Judson) of Lake City and Dr. Ryder Ward (Angel) of Starkville, MS; his great grandchildren, Charlee, Myles, Tate Coker of Lake City, Asher and Tyson Coker of Lake City; and his pet GiGi. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends.
