Gerard W. Lowder Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 18, 2025, at the age of 82, Gerard W. Lowder of Lake City, South Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Lowder and Ethelda Lee Lowder; and his siblings, Dermont Lowder, Merwyn Lowder and Deborah Gaskins.
He is survived by: his sons, Shawn Lowder (Dolly) of Scranton and Jared Lowder (Shawn Lockamy) of Lake City; his grandchildren, Kelci Lowder and Jaxon Lowder; and his brother Tommy Lowder (Dianne) of Lake City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Carolina Funeral Home Chapel (215 E Hwy 378 Byp, Lake City, SC 29591). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Lake City Memorial Park (522 W Main St, Lake City, SC 29560).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lee's Tabernacle, 2226 N. Matthews Road, Scranton, SC 29591.
