He was predeceased by: his parents, J. B. Baxley and Mattie Lee Marlow; and his siblings, Don Baxley, Lucelle Lions and John Arthur McGee.
He is survived by: his wife Roxie Parrott Baxley of Lake City; his children, Joey Baxley of Lake City and Ashley Baxley (Edward) of Olanta; his grandchildren, Destiny Baxley (Jorge) of Sims, NC and Elvis Buddin of Olanta; and his siblings, Leslie "Squeky" Marlow (Mary Nell) of Johnsonville and Elloree Freeman (Eddie) of Scranton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
