She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Ballard Curry and Birdie Marie Stone Curry; her daughter Sandra Teal Broach of Coward; and her siblings, J. C. Curry, Dilbert Curry, Geneva Hodge, Josephine Barfield and Elise Sherrod.
She is survived by: her son Terry Teal; her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Broach-Akers (Randy), Jason Ronald Broach, Terri Cherea Teal and Scottie Calvin Teal; and her sister Valerie Hodge. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
