Richard Collins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Collins of Ladys Island, South Carolina, who passed away on January 7, 2021 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Grayson Collins and Jennie Lois Gardner McCormick; and his son Richard "Richie" Collins (Sheila Fitzgerald Collins). He is survived by: his son Jason Collins; his grandson Kyler Collins; his brother Randy Collins (Arla); his cousin Pam Cable (Dale); and his friend Donna J. McCrea. He is also survived by children and grandchildren.
The family request that all necessary protocol, including masks and social distancing be upheld and respected.
In lieu of flowers, Rick requested that donations be made to Alzheimer's Family Services of Greater Beaufort, 111 Bay Street, Suite B, Beaufort, South Carolina 29902 (http: //afsgb.org/) in honor of his mother, Jennie Lois Gardner McCormick; and numerous family members who lost their lives to the disease.
