It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Dahl (Ladys Island, South Carolina), who passed away on January 17, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Nils J. Dahl; her siblings, Blanche McCoyd, Thomas and Patrick Flaherty; and her nephews, Kenneth J. O'Leary and Kenneth Flaherty.
She is survived by: her children, Gregory P. Dahl (Halina) of Wilbraham, MA, Patricia Dahl of New York, NY, John E. Dahl (Kimberly) of Spring, TX, Norena C. Howard (Terrence) of Fairfield, CT and Nils S. Dahl (Christine) of Southport, CT; her grandchildren, Nils Dahl (Page), Nathan Dahl (Alyssa), Joseph Dahl (Megan), Stacie Routt (Travis), Jo De Hollis (Cory), Catherine Howard, Matthew Howard, Gabrielle Howard and Andie Dahl; and her sister Kathleen Connolly of Sparta, NJ. She is also survived by her 11 nieces and nephews, and many grandnieces and nephews.
